New Job Opportunity - Senior Payroll Administrator
New and exciting job opportunity with a client based out of Rockville, MD. Looking to hire an experienced Senior Payroll Administrator with a minimum of 2 years of related work experience processing payroll (Multi State Payroll - Healthcare Experience is a plus). *Ceridian Dayforce experience is highly preferred *
Logistics of the Role:
- Full Time - Direct Hire
- Hybrid-Remote: 2 days of remote work a week
- Process payroll data received from our clients, relating to pay changes, absence, starters, leavers, pay adjustments
- Process any changes to payroll that may arise out of queries, e.g. overpayments, underpayments and backdated pay changes
- Deliver the required payroll outputs against the payroll calendar and checklists
- Manage & prioritize own payroll delegated work
- Meet tight deadlines regarding deadline dates
- Ensure that all targets for service delivery are met and where possible exceeded
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting is highly preferred - Associates Required
- Minimum of two years of working experience processing payroll- experience working in a healthcare focused industry is highly preferred
- Proficiency in Excel
- Communications and Organizational Skills
- Experience with Ceridian Dayforce is highly preferred
- knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) revenue accounting standards (ASC 606)
